Cyclometer 15/25 setup
- Calibration numbers are the same as tire circumference in mm. Choose the number from the calibration table that corresponds to your tire size, or measure circumference.
- Reach calibration from the Trip Distance function (d) by holding the left button 4 seconds, releasing, then holding again 4 seconds.
- The last digit of the calibration number will blink, and you can change it with the right button. Press the left button to go to the next digit.
- After adjusting all the digits, press the left button to exit.
- To choose miles or kilometers go to the Total Distance function (D) and hold down the left button 6 seconds. When 'mi' or 'km' flashes choose between them with the right button.
- To set the clock hold the left button then press the right button with the clock displayed. Adjust time digits with the left button and move between the digits with the right button.
Cyclometer 20 setup
- Find the calibration number for your tire size from the calibration table.
- To calibrate go to the Total Distance function of your Cyclometer. Total Distance is indicated by 'D' on the display.
- Hold down both buttons more than two seconds to show the calibration numbers.
- Select a calibration number from the table and enter it with the left button. Numbers begin at 100 and go through 299. There is one sequence of numbers for miles followed by one for kilometers. The mile range is indicated by 'mi' on the display, and kilometers by 'km'.
- When you reach your number, press the right button to leave calibration.
Cyclometer 30 and 31 setup
- Find the calibration number for your tire size from the calibration table.
- Go to the distance function "d" and hold down the right button to show total distance (a flashing "d" must show). Then hold down both buttons for three seconds. This shows the calibration numbers. Numbers begin at 100 and go through 299. There is one sequence of numbers for miles followed by one for kilometers. The mile range is indicated by "mi" and kilometers by "km" .
- To rapidly advance the numbers hold the left button down. To advance the numbers one at a time, press the left button. When you reach your number, press the right button to leave calibration.
- To set the clock, go to the clock function (the secondary time function) and press both buttons. The hour digits will flash. Advance the hours with the left button. At the correct hour press the right button and the minutes will flash. Advance the minutes with the left button. At the correct minute press the right button to complete setup.
Cyclometer 35 setup
- Before installing a new battery, completely reset the Cyclometer by holding both buttons down for 30 seconds with the battery out. Install the new battery, and the Cyclometer will go into calibration mode with "mi" appearing on the display.
- To reach setup with a battery already in the unit, press and hold both buttons 8 seconds until mi or km appears. Move through the 6 setup functions with the right button. Enter setup data or choices with the left button.
- To program total distance hold down the left button when mi or km is displayed, then enter miles with the left button.
- Choose miles or kilometers.
- Enter a calibration number from the calibration table or measure tire circumference by roll-out and enter that.
- If the unit won't be used for several months, leave SSSS displayed on the screen. Press the right button to exit sleep.
- Choose 12 or 24 hour clock.
- Enter correct hour.
- Enter correct minute.
- Press the right button to exit setup.
Cyclometer 40 setup
- To reach setup, press and hold down both buttons 5 to 8 seconds. After all display segments show briefly the unit goes into setup. Move through the 5 setup functions by pressing the right button.
- Choose English or metric units with the left button.
- In wheel size calibration the default of 84.84 (English) or 2155 (metric) shows, and an arrow to the right of the numbers points up then down. Pressing or holding the left button increases or decreases the numbers according to the arrow direction. Calibration numbers equal tire circumference in either inches or mm. Choose a calibration number from the calibration table or measure tire circumference.
- Leave cadence turned off (non-cadence units) by pressing the right button to go to the next setup function.
- Choose 12 or 24 hour clock format with the left button.
- Set the clock by first advancing the hours with the left button. Press the right button, then advance the minutes with the left button.
Cyclometer 45 & 45tt setup
- Before installing a new battery, completely reset the Cyclometer by holding both buttons down for 30 seconds with the battery out. Install the new battery, and the Cyclometer will go into calibration mode with "mi" appearing on the display.
- To reach setup with a battery already in the unit, press and hold both buttons 8 seconds until mi or km appears. Move through the 7 setup functions with the right button. Enter setup data or choices with the left button.
- To program total distance hold down the left button when mi or km is displayed, then enter miles with the left button.
- Choose miles or kilometers.
- Enter a calibration number from the calibration table or measure tire circumference by roll-out and enter that.
- Choose whether cadence will be displayed (CAd).
- If the unit won't be used for several months, leave SLEEP displayed on the screen. Press the right button to exit sleep.
- Choose 12 or 24 hour clock.
- Enter correct hour.
- Enter correct minute. Press the right button to exit setup.
Cyclometer 50 setup
- When installing batteries in the Cyclometer 50 use this special double insert procedure: Insert both batteries. Remove one battery and leave it out for 15 seconds. Reinsert the battery you removed. The unit will then go into calibration mode.
- To reach setup with a battery already in the unit, press and hold down both buttons 5 to 8 seconds. After all display segments show briefly the unit goes into setup. Move through the 5 setup functions by pressing the right button.
- Choose or English and metric units with the left button.
- In wheel size calibration, the default of 83.45 (English) or 2120 (metric) shows, and an arrow to the right of the numbers points up then down. Pressing or holding the left button increases or decreases the numbers according to the arrow direction. Calibration numbers equal tire circumference in either inches or mm. Choose a calibration number from the calibration table or measure tire circumference.
- Choose whether trip climb or descent will be recorded by pressing the left button.
- Choose whether cadence will be displayed in the speed function by pressing the left button.
- Set the clock by first advancing the hours with the left button. Press the right button, then advance the minutes with the left button.
